Foraging & Education
I Love to share what I have learned about the amazing plants that grow wild all over our property! Like most people, we used to spend tons of time trying to keep a nice weed-free lawn... but so many of the plants we have wasted time and energy trying to eliminate have such amazing abilities! We have now learned to embrace the weeds!
We hosted our first medicinal foraging workshops in spring of 2022 and found that a LOT of people want to know more about the plants around them! Over 70 folks joined us throughout the season and shared some wonderful feedback!
Each year, we have had more and more people attend our workshops! I am so excited to continue into the 2025 season! I look forward to many more plant walks, classes focused on edible ornamentals and tours of the medicinal herb gardens.
